Making your day really ‘work’ for you !

First of all, I would like to thank linkedin for giving me the opportunity to share my thoughts with the world. Yes, I was a bit skeptical about what to write about but then it was early morning when I started writing this. So I thought why not write about how to start and make your day really ‘work’ for you!

Despite all the improvements in technology, the sun still rises and sets at its scheduled time. And all of you along with me would have heard this quote from your childhood days — ‘ Early to bed and early to rise, makes a man healthy and wise’! Well, there is a mountain of truth in it. The most successful people on this planet are early risers. ‘ Beating the sun’ has its special benefits — you tend to lose your sleep, become fresh and active for the day, and can utilize your energy for doing something useful. This energy you have acquired by rising before the sun rises can be considered as ‘surplus’ energy you have in hand in comparison to others who rise after the sun rises. I heard from one of my friends in Ruston, Louisiana, USA that successful people who usually are early-risers are able to complete all their most important tasks by around 10.30 am.
